What is Frankincense oil?

Frankincense oil originates from the resin of Boswellia Carterii or the Boswellia Sacara tree that can be found in Somalia, Yemen, Oman, and Etheopia. The milky white sap is extracted from the tree bark, allowed to harden into gum resin for several days, and is then scraped off in tear-shaped droplets. The highest-quality frankincense is clear and silvery, but with a slight green tinge. Brown-yellow varieties are the cheapest and most readily available. In Oman, the best frankincense is usually reserved for the sultan and is rarely shipped out of the country. How does it work? Hi All! We will be at the Lake St. Louis Farmer Market this Saturday (June 27th) from 8-12pm!    The Lake Saint Louis Farmers & Artists Market is located at The Meadows shopping center at Highway 40 & Lake Saint Louis Blvd.   The weekly farmers market will operate on Saturdays from 8am-noon through late October at The Meadows in the south lots by the fountain. The Lake Saint Louis Farmers & Artists Market is St. Charles County’s only producer-only market. The market only sells goods that are produced by the vendors themselves within a 100-mile radius of the market.
