My Fire Cider Recipe

  Late summer is the beginning of the harvest season.  I love preparing my fire cider for fall because it needs to sit for about 4 weeks. Fire cider is a great way to boost the immune system, stimulate digestion and keep you warm through cold fall and winter months. What is Frankincense oil?

Frankincense oil originates from the resin of Boswellia Carterii or the Boswellia Sacara tree that can be found in Somalia, Yemen, Oman, and Etheopia. The milky white sap is extracted from the tree bark, allowed to harden into gum resin for several days, and is then scraped off in tear-shaped droplets.
